The adoption fee is waived for Angus and ALL Desperate Housecats!
Sweet Angus arrived at AAC, both jaundiced and anemic. It is not clear whether these were caused by infectious agents or autoimmune disease. He responded quickly to treatment for both issues.
Angus moved into a foster home for supportive care, and made a complete recovery. It is unlikely that he will have any related problems in the future, but it is something for adopters to be aware of.
Angus is understandably a bit `hand shy`, as he was treated for a long time. He does like to be petted, and will even accept belly rubs once he is comfortable with his environment and his humans. He will need time and patience to acclimate to a new home and to new people. He is great with other cats.
