SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Harley is a wonderful little dog seeking the companionship of a wonderful adopter! Not only is she adorable, but he is super sweet. Harley is both quiet, and clean, and a perfect little sweetheart that would be happy beside her special person enjoying a quiet life. Harley came to us from a shelter in south central NC with another senior girl that had been in her home. We believe they were surrendered together to the shelter when their owner passed away. Fully grown at just 12 pounds, she is a perfect size for most homes! Harley is in good health, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. We are seeking a home with an adopter able to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with her. A home without larger pets or small children, and with a fenced, secure yard will Harley is in her best interest. She will make a wonderful companion for a senior person who is able to care for her independently.
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Harley and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet Harley at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting her and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. More information on our website at www.carerva.com.
