My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Microchipped, DOB: July 31, 2021

Kasu is an absolute sweetheart. A floofy goofball, always ready for a bit of playtime or some pets. He is curious and active and loves exploring and playing new games. He'll even invent new ones to play with you too! He can make a game out of anything.

Kasu loves to get lots of affection, but prefers to do it from the ground instead of by being held or curling up in your lap.

Kasu is part of a bonded pair, so he comes with a built in bestie named Lucy. Lucy is definitely the dominant one in their relationship and sometimes Kasu can get a bit timid when Lucy gets a little annoyed with him but when he feels relaxed and safe, his personality really shines through. He is also very sweet with Lucy, helping to keep her clean by helping her with grooming. The two would probably do best in a home with more than one human so they can each get the one-on-one attention they deserve.

Kasu and Lucy were surrendered by their owner because they were leaving the country and couldn't take them along. This has resulted in Kasu feeling a bit stressed by the upheaval of being in a new home and he'll sometimes hide for a bit if he gets too overwhelmed, but doesn't tend to stay away for too long because he's generally a very curious boy.

If you're looking for a sweet, goofy muppet who is a total delight to spend time with and comes with his own built in bestie, then Kasu and Lucy could be the perfect pair for you!

Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair is $150 per cat, versus our standard fee of $200 per adult cat.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old).

This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
