And speaking of GET OUT, I was saved from the pound with my eye hanging out :( BUT, I had surgery and it bothers me no more! It doesn't bother me not being there either :)
Like dogs do, I don't remember what it was like to have two eyes! I moved forward and now I am in an AMAZING foster home, my foster mama LOVES ME, but I deserve my OWN family!!
Fosters and rescuers are SO AWESOME, but there are at least 500 more "Peter Parker" wannabeeeessssss waiting to be saved :(

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
