Cricket is a sweet, gentle cuddlebug with a heart full of love, especially for kids. She's incredibly patient and tolerant, even letting her foster family's two-year-old play with her however they please. Though she took some time to settle into her foster home, she's now showing her affectionate side, bonding deeply with her humans. Cricket can be a bit clingy due to her anxiety and isn't a fan of being left alone or using a crate. While she sometimes scavenges for food and has the occasional potty accident, her gentle, warm nature makes her easy to adore. Currently a low-energy couch potato due to medication, Cricket still gets excited for her walks and loves car rides. When small dog friends visited, her joy and calmness were obvious, hinting that she might thrive with another calm dog around. Cricket's ideal home would have someone home most of the time, kids she can love on, and a family willing to patiently help her continue building confidence. Health-wise, she's on track after gaining a bit of weight, and now eats well on her routine. Cricket has been through a lot but is ready to bring endless love and joy to a forever family who's ready for a loyal, snuggly companion.
