This sweet, playful boy is bursting with curiosity, always eager to explore his surroundings and find new toys to pounce on. Trout is not only full of energy but also incredibly affectionate—he loves to snuggle up after a good play session. His big heart and charming personality are sure to win you over instantly! If you’re ready for a loyal, playful companion who’ll brighten every day, fill out an adoption application at www.metrodetroitanimals.org to meet Trout.<p>
For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. More about this shelter

Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit (FAMD) brings a little more love into the world by celebrating the special bond between an animal and their “person.” At FAMD, we don’t just rescue dogs and cats, we make life-changing connections with the people who adopt them.

We bring our passion and animals into the community with events that help bring together dogs and cats with loving people. And our outreach programs help promote education and animal welfare legislation locally, so that fewer animals have to spend another minute waiting for their forever home.

FAMD’s new state-of-the-art Animal Adoption and Education Center at 16121 Reckinger Road in Dearborn offers animals comfortable housing and medical support. It’s where our staff and volunteers work every day to make Metro Detroit a happier, more loving place for both two-legged and four-legged creatures alike.
