Hey there! My name's Spell, and I've got a magical look with my sleek black coat and little brown eyebrows that give me a curious, clever expression. I'm full of energy and love a good adventure-whether it's chasing a ball, exploring the backyard, or learning new tricks to wow everyone around me. I am still learning how to go potty outside and walking on a leash but I am doing very well.

I am microchipped and fully up to date on my shots. I can also sleep through the night! My favorite thing is casting a "spell on anyone I meet with my puppy eyes; one look, and you'll be under my charm! I'm loyal, loving, and always ready to make new friends whether it's another dog, a cat, or young children. Can't wait to put a little magic in your life!

1.
Submit Application

Application and more info may be found at: peaklabrescue.com/adopt. Please allow 24 hours for your application to be reviewed.

2.
Meet the Pet

If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $325 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.

4.
Take the Pet Home

If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $275. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.

Additional adoption info

You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.

Peak Lab Rescue is the largest foster-based dog rescue in North Carolina. We do not have a facility, all of our dogs live in homes where they can learn the skills to be successful family members.

Our Mission is to end dog homelessness in North Carolina. We save Lab Mixes and other dogs from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and high-kill shelters.
