A SWEET AND SOCIAL KITTEN: Approx. 3 months old / Approx. 3.5 lbs. & growing
Hello, I’m Rex! I came to Mostly Mutts as a single kitten in need of a good home. I’ve been getting lots of love in a great foster home, and now I am one of the newest residents in the Kitty Room at the shelter. If you are looking for a new family member to love – come meet me soon!
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I’ve not met other cats. I’m currently making friends with the other kittens in the shelter’s Kitty Room, so I may enjoy another kitty in my home. If you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet! / I do very well with the dogs in my former foster home. It likely will depend on the dog, but if you have kitty-friendly doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I enjoyed rubbing all over the 2-year-old that visited my former foster home often. Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My former foster said I am ‘a social, sweet and happy kitten’ who ‘loves everybody’. I actually exhibit dog-like qualities, in that I want to follow people around and interact with them by playing with toys … similar to my canine friends. I’m affectionate and put lots of kitty effort into climbing up to be as near my people as possible. Watch your feet, because I will be right there when you are walking around the house. I’ll bring lots of smiles to your face with my kitten antics!
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I adore people and really want to be part of the family – always where things are going on. I love a comfy spot (blanket, pillow, your lap) to ‘make biscuits’ – cute! Soft toys that I can bat around make me a happy guy, too. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!
• MEDICAL: I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I am microchipped. I'm not yet neutered due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more. Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their approved vets in the North Metro Atlanta area, so local adoptions only.
I am looking for a great family to give me a loving furever home! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
