My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

My name is Pretty Girl. You can see why I got that name from the picture. I am, of course, SO pretty. And I have a beautiful long, fluffy coat.

But here’s what’s going on right now. I’m sad. My heart is broken. I spent all my life with a woman who I loved. She loved me, too. But she recently passed away. That means I’m still here but she’s not. She always cared for me and I cared for her. I gave her so much love and she returned it to me. We were inseparable until she passed.

Then, I went to stay with her niece. It wasn’t the same. I was one of many and I just wasn’t used to intermingling with other felines. I had never done that before. I was so shy and scared. What can I say? It didn’t work out.

So, I ended up here at the rescue. And guess what? There are even more cats here. I never knew there could be so many. I’m in an office with a lovely, kind woman. I found out it’s safe to hide behind her desk. Nothing can hurt me here, but it’s not much of a life.

So, can you help me? I’d love to go to a quiet home where I don’t have to deal with other animals. A place where I can mend my heart, love someone new, and be loved by them. Could that be you? If so, I’ve heard you have to fill out an application. Please do that and come by soon.
