Lucy, and her BFF Sonya are an inseparable pair looking for a forever home together! These two are bonded beyond words—they're practically two halves of one snuggly heart. Lucy and Sonya are total couch potatoes with a love for lounging, but don’t let that fool you! They also have an adorable habit of wrestling each other in the cutest little play sessions.

Both girls are super sweet, good with other dogs, and just the right mix of chill and playful. Whether they’re snuggled up side-by-side or having a playful “potato match,” they’ll bring double the love and laughs to your home. If you're looking for the perfect pair, look no further than Lucy and Sonya!

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
