My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zaiden came to Feline Canine Friends as an unsocialized kitten who was part of a large TNR project. He's been in a foster home for the last month and is a fun, curious and playful boy. Zaiden loves treats, toys, being pet and getting chin scratches. He will come up and lay by you, seeking affection and will swirl your ankles. He will sometimes climb in your lap but he's still nervous about being picked up. For that reason, Zaiden would do better in a home without young children. He loves other cats has the loudest purr. Reach out to Feline Canine Friends if you'd like to meet Zaiden.

You must first fill out an adoption application. Please go to "Site Map" under the home tab and click on the "Forms and applications" tab to find an application. Allow 2-3 days for us to process your application A volunteer will contact you and arrange for you to meet the pet you have chosen to see if it is a good match. If all is well, you will sign an adoption contract, pay an adoption fee and you will have a new family member.

All cats are spayed and neutered as part of the adoption. They may be tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) for a fee of $15.

More about this rescue

Feline/Canine Friends (F/CF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. F/CF rescues, rehabilitates, re-homes and provides sanctuary for many cats including special-needs cats. Many of our special needs cats have FIV or FeLV; plus we have many ferals who have been given a new home and a new life.

We are an all-volunteer group dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and educating people on the importance of spaying and neutering to control the pet population.
