My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Asher was found as a tiny tiny kitten, weighing 5 ounces only. His finder, a boy named Asher, looked all over for the mama cat but couldn't find her. Asher the kitten was taken in by a foster mother who bottle fed him around the clock. Asher was in charge of his life from that moment on: he litter-trained himself (well, all kittens do that), started eating solid food by himself, weaned himself from a bottle, and started his college fund.  He happily plays with all the other foster kittens in his foster mother's house, but loves to cuddle and purr with any person he meets. He is quite independent at the same time, and always has a side-hustle going...like napping, playing with the Turboscratcher, or watching You Tube. He recently met a lovely companion, Dorothy, another black kitten of the same age. He is captivated by her dainty beauty, while she merely tolerates him after 1 week of friendship.  He has high hopes for a meaningful relationship though.

Additional adoption info

A potential adopter fills out an adoption application in person or online. The application is reviewed by an Adoption Counselor. Then that applicant is interviewed and, if the candidate and the pet are a good match, the paperwork is completed to finalize the adoption.
