My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Dorothy is a darling little girl who was left outside near a vet clinic when she was less than 9 weeks old. Of course she was taken in and cared for, and was then given to her foster mom to raise with other kittens of a similar age. Dorothy has something to say about everything; she may deliver her opinion as a delicate little cheep, or, as a loud reprimand, depending on what she feels is needed. Dorothy is a marvelous cuddler and will occasionally be very insistent on cuddling and kissing RIGHT NOW.  She loves to play.

Additional adoption info

A potential adopter fills out an adoption application in person or online. The application is reviewed by an Adoption Counselor. Then that applicant is interviewed and, if the candidate and the pet are a good match, the paperwork is completed to finalize the adoption.

Go meet their pets

Many of our animals are in foster homes, but we do have some cats and dogs at our Adoption Center in West Palm Beach. We also have adoptable cats on site at several PetSupermarket locations throughout Palm Beach County, as well as at the Delray Beach PetSmart. We have adoption events on most weekends all over Palm Beach County. Please visit our website, www.animalrescueforce.org, and click on Events to see what events are coming up.
