My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heidy is a cute medium hair cat. She is very food driven and let you pet her to get what she wants. Heidy is not fond to be lifted and long petting sessions. She is sweet and likes attention on her own terms. Heidy was found living in an abandoned moldy appartment. We suspect she was left behind by her owners. We couldn't left her living in there and starving to die. Heidy is fully vetted now and lives in a foster home but would like to have her own family. Heidy may have lack of initial socialization but she deserves to have a family that accepts her and provide a safe indoors life. Heidy is looking for a savvy cat person that loves and accepts her as she is. She is quiet and would stay by the side of her care giver and accepts petting and play time from time to time. Adoptable Cats Houston is a non-profit organization committed to finding permanent homes for cats and kittens. Our cats were homeless strays or abandoned cats that were living in a colony that we manage. They live in foster homes where they are nurtured and receive the medical care they need. Our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being adopted into responsible, stable, loving forever homes.

We are a team of cat lovers that volunteer to make a difference to the stray cats that cross our path.
