Meet Calvin! This 12 month old handsome cattle dog mix one good looking Texas doggie. One look at his sweet freckled face will make you fall in love and want to take him home.
Calvin came to the shelter as a stray, and we can’t believe no one claimed him.
Calvin is very scared at the shelter, so we hope someone will step up and adopt him soon. He needs to be in a home with lots of love and patience to make him feel comfortable.
Calvin came into the shelter full of ticks, and even though shaking with fear, he allowed the GAP girls to take off all the ticks while bathing him. It was so heartbreaking to see this baby cowering from fear, and it made us wonder if someone had been cruel to him in the past? We certainly hope not, but this cow doggie definitely deserves a much better life in the future.
Calvin is good with other dogs and enjoys playing in the play yard. Although timid at first, he is docile and submissive to everyone he meets. Calvin is a smart doggie and will make someone a wonderful life-long companion.
