My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet tart came to us with her kittens, Sabrina and Austin. She's an independent love bug who enjoys getting pets but is just as satisfied to escape to a quiet space for a nap. And don't worry, she'll let you know when she wants your attention. She meows to make sure you know she wants pets! Sweet tart is comfortable around dogs as long as they're calm, but young children are a bit too scary for her. Sweet tart is a real sweetheart!

Go meet their pets

Our pets are currently in foster homes as well as we have a program with the local women's prison. With the prison the animals live in the room with the inmate handler and receive socialization and training. We have just recently added dogs to our program with the prison. Generally the pets are brought to our office for their meet and greets and adoptions. We also partner with Ziggy's Cat Lounge in Bremerton for our cats and kittens.

More about this rescue

We are a small but mighty Humane Society serving an underserved county with adoption, spay and neuter, wellness, stray recovery, and other animal related services. Currently we are all foster as we don't have a shelter yet, but we have a 5 acre parcel we are going to build a shelter on. We have started the planning process with Shelter Planners of America.
