Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bader is a 4-5 year-old, female, Shepherd/Collie mix. While I wouldn’t describe her as high energy, she loves to play (fetch mostly) and seems to adjust her energy level to whatever is being asked of her at the time. Bader was adopted from MHCR as a pup and recently returned. She struggles in situations with new dogs and is very insecure and this is why she lost her home. She does best with slow introductions and would likely enjoy a dog friend once she’s had a chance to acclimate properly. However, a canine companion is not required in her home as she’d be happy as a clam being the only dog. Bader was raised with kiddos and did well with them. She knows a variety of tricks and is said to be leash trained, although she can be leash reactive. She has the physique, agility, and brains to satisfy any dog connoisseur, she just needs a strong leader that can help her with her confidence and sociability. Bader is also house trained! If you have a large fenced yard, a good arm for fetch, and an endless supply of tennis balls, give our girl a shot! She’s available for foster or adoption.
Bader is in foster in Mead, Colorado.
*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *
