My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This fur ball was found with his sister off the highway in Austin. He had a wound on his face and was in need of medical attention. Teddy has been such a trooper though all his medical care and has healed up well. He is very affectionate and playful. He has grown up with dogs, cats, children, and is well socialized. His coat is soft and fluffy just like his personality. He would make the perfect family pet.

You will be asked to submit 3 references and provide your vet info. Make sure your references and vet know we will be calling.

Home checks are done virtually and in person.

TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
