My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Confident
Playful
Independent

Basil loves food, sleep, and chest scritches. He would rather lay next to you than in your lap, but he's still just as sweet and snuggly as his littermates. Basil is a confident, playful boy who would love a tolerant playmate but would also be perfectly fine as an only pup. He is a "go with the flow" kind of pup who would rather flop down in a sunny spot than run around the yard at the end of the day.

More about this rescue

Neshama Rescue is an all volunteer independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare and education organization. Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
