My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Ezekiel and Xigbar were brought in by their previous owner on November 2, 2024.

Why these cats are the ones for you:
Meet Ezekiel and Xigbar, an adorable pair of bonded brothers ready to find their new home together! Ezekiel, the head honcho, is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly, especially when showered with attention and pets. He takes his role as protector seriously, always keeping an eye on his brother Xigbar. Xigbar, on the other hand, is an energetic spirit who loves to stay busy and keep an eye on everything happening around him. Both kitties are fans of grooming sessions and are known to cleverly open drawers and cabinets, showcasing their playful nature. If you're looking for a pair of affectionate, active cats who will bring joy and companionship to your home, Ezekiel and Xigbar are the perfect match!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
