My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Vinnie is currently in the shelter, and he is available for foster or adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

Hey there! I'm Vinnie, named after the smooth-talking star of Jersey Shore! Just like my namesake, I'm all about charm, fun, and making every moment count. I'm a friendly pup with a playful spirit, ready to bring some excitement to your life!

I love exploring new places, whether it's a walk in the park or a trip to the beach. I'm a social butterfly, great with kids and other pets, and I always know how to keep the good times rolling. My playful personality means I'm up for fetch, tug-of-war, or just hanging out for some snuggles on the couch.

As Vinnie would say, "You gotta have fun!" I'm here to make sure every day is filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
