Meet Dottie, a stunning three-year-old cattle dog/pittie mix, weighing in at 40 lbs. of pure love. With her beautiful white coat adorned with gray freckles and captivating gray eyes, she’s hard to resist! Rescued from North Carolina, Dottie is on a journey to regain her strength since displaying severe kennel stress leading to her emaciated appearance after her family moved and they dumped her at the shelter. Her ideal weight is between 50-60 lbs., and she’s already making great strides!

Dottie is the quintessential "velcro dog" — she thrives on companionship and loves to be by your side. Belly rubs, snuggles, and pets are her favorite things, and she’s eager to shower you with affection in return. Her playful spirit shines when she’s around other dogs; she’s currently in foster with two dogs, as well as a cat and gets along well with all, though she’s known to initiate play with the kitty!

An expert fetcher, Dottie has a special fondness for tennis balls and toys. She walks well on a leash, enjoys treats, and knows some basic commands, showcasing her smarts. Bath time is a breeze for her too; she loves to feel fresh and clean!

Dottie is working hard on her housetraining and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can play safely. She’d be over the moon to share her home with another dog and is ready to fill your life with joy, laughter, and unconditional love.
