This is Aspen. She is approximately 11 months old, spayed female, +/-40 pound, fully vetted/vaccinated collie/husky cross looking for a new home. Originally adopted from the shelter in Bastrop. She’s a very sweet and calm pup, but she’s obsessed with my chickens and actively tries to break into the chicken run.
She does very well with my loud and boisterous 5 and 3 year olds. She is very loving towards the whole family and just wants to sit with her head in your lap and enjoy scratches.
She is fully house trained and willing to go into her kennel when asked. She sleeps in the bedroom overnight with no accidents.
Aspen chews when she is bored so we make sure to have different dog chews around the house, but she needs to be kenneled if left unattended since she has that tendency to chew.
She walks exceptionally well on a leash and only rarely pulls. She rarely jumps.
Good with our other dog and loves to play. She does OK with cats, but not chickens.
