My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Gato and I am available for adoption.

I was brought in by a good samaritan on October 24, 2024. The person that found me had me for a few weeks attempting to socialize me. When I first arrived I was terrified and was on track to become a barn cat, but after a little extra TLC from my caregivers my true colors finally came out! I am a huge foodie and can easily be won over with food and treats. I may hiss at first, but if you offer me a churu I will come out to snack!

Since I am so timid, new situatious make me revert back to my old way. I am looking for a family that is patient and understanding. Once I know you are my food source and you give me time to adjust I will happily accept pets from you. I may hiss and run away initially, but I have not a mean bone in my body!

Due to my shy nature I would thrive best in a calm, quiet home without younger children (fast movements and loud noises startle me.)

I am a gentle, but spirited kitten who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!
