My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** The Pauly D is currently in a foster home, and he is available for adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

What's up! I'm Pauly D, named after the legendary DJ from Jersey Shore! Just like my namesake, I'm all about having a good time and bringing some serious fun to your life. With my slick looks and vibrant personality, I'm ready to be the life of the party!

I'm a playful pup who loves to explore, whether it's hitting the beach or just chilling at home with you. My friendly nature makes me great with kids and other pets, and I'm always down for some fun and games. Whether we're going for long walks or playing fetch, I'm here to keep the good vibes going!

As Pauly D likes to say, "I'm just here for the good times!" I promise to fill your days with love, laughter, and maybe even a little mischief!

If you're looking for a cool and loyal companion who knows how to keep things lively, I'm your guy! Let's create some unforgettable memories together-come meet me, Pauly D!

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
