Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Roxie girl is a sweet and friendly senior pup who is hoping to find a comfy retirement home- stat! At 8.5 years old, Roxie is entering her golden years; the PERFECT age to adopt if you’re looking for a mature dog who has left the crazy puppy days behind them! Roxie is ready to put on her house slippers and putter about with you.
Roxie lived her entire life in one home and was surrendered to the shelter when her former owner could no longer care for her. They shared that she is a playful girl who walks well on a leash and likes car rides, and that she’s an affectionate couch potato who is house trained and crate trained. Understandably Roxie is pretty confused as to why she ended up at the shelter, but she is a resilient girl who is making the best of her circumstances!
Shelter staff and volunteers have found Roxie to be polite and easy to handle. One volunteer friend shared that Roxie is calm and gentle when getting leashed up in her kennel and that she is an easy walker who seeks affection (and treats!) from her handler. They also described her as a very pleasant walking buddy.
Roxie shares her kennel politely with another pup at the shelter and has been appropriate and independent in playgroup with other dogs. She is looking for a home with no small animals, please! If you’re looking to give a deserving pup a chance to slow down and take in the finer things in life (like snuggles, treats and a comfy bed), come meet Roxie today!
