My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr. Jalapeno is an ~ 3 - 1/2 month old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped!

Mr. Jalapeno came in as a very skinny, nervous kitten who immediately took to sitting on shoulders like a parrot. Now that he is older and healthy, he struggles to fit on your shoulders but he sure does try.

This boy is an independent, loving and goofy kitten who very much expects to be babied. He likes to do things on his terms, and has a voice when he doesn't get what he wants, and will pout in the next room. When he is feeling affectionate, he loves to cuddle up in soft blankets or sleep cradled in his favorite people’s arms. He also makes a great lap kitten when guests are over and likes to keep an eye on group activities.

Mr. Jalapeno requires a home with other cats to keep him company. He has done well in foster care with cats of all ages, though his favorite friends are the ones who can keep up during playtime. If you are looking for two kittens, he currently lives in foster care with Foxglove and Pico and loves them. He especially loves running through the living room at high speeds and climbing up cat trees.

Due to Mr. Jalapeno’s initially shy nature, he would do best with respectful kids 5 years of age and up. He has not met dogs, but may do well with a cat-savvy dog given slow and proper introductions.
