I am a sweet and easygoing, friendly, and happy Black Mouth Cur mix, about 5 years old, 50 lbs and I listen well in 2 languages (English & Spanish)! I already know how to sit and stay and if you tell me to go outside, I understand. I was a stray dog in Von Ormy Texas, hanging out at a local church, made friends with the pastor, and everyone was bringing me treats. One day a lady brought me home and she is now my foster mom, took me for vaccines, a neuter, microchip, and I took to living in a home like a duck to water. I must have been someone's pet at some point in the past because I have never had one potty accident indoors, I’m well-behaved and respectful, I never bark, I’m sweet and loving, I’m a one-in-a-million dog! My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about me today and bring me home!

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.

We specialize in saving small to medium breed types and re-homing in the North East where there is less unwanted dog overflow and a high volume of qualified adopters.
