My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Won’t you come to the Mesquite Animal Shelter to visit with Georgia? She needs socialization. The shelter has her listed as a retriever lab mix and my Dog Scanner said she’s a mixture. I’ve been told that’s the best kind. She’s a one year-old 30 pound sweetheart that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 11/2 along with her sibling Virginia. She is missing patches of hair on her back. She’s been given Nexgard and will be given a skin scrape. Look into her eyes and you can see how scared she is. It appears she’s been an outside dog and has not had much socialization. She wants to make friends. It’s difficult to tell what her true personality will be once trust has been established. However, there’s no doubt that she is very sweet, gentle and well mannered. She did her business when she got out into the yard. She had to be carried out into the yard because she was so scared. We call her a work in progress.
