My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

  • Name / Breed  / Age: Hazel,  German Shepherd, puppy

  • Personality Traits: The Velcro Pup, Loveable, Unsure but gaining confidence

  • Likes / Dislikes: Loves toys. Not a fan of noisy children!

  • Health and behavior history:  Up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and will be neutered between 4-7 months. Clean bill of health from the PIPs Vet!

Meet Hazel, a beautiful 5-month-old Shepherd mix (possibly part Carolina dog?) with striking eyes and a stunning coat. Hazel was found as a stray with her sister, and she’s making great progress with obedience—she knows “sit,” “down,” and “place” and is well on her way with potty training. She sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate and is currently learning leash skills.

Hazel is high-energy, loves tug, and enjoys playing with familiar dogs. She’s naturally shy with new people but is slowly coming out of her shell. With patience, she builds trust and opens up, making her an incredibly loyal companion. She’ll thrive in a family that can be patient and help her build confidence, ideally with older children who can give her space. Hazel would also benefit from having a calm, confident older dog as a playmate.

If you’re seeking a loyal friend with a stunning appearance and plenty of potential, Hazel could be your perfect match!
