Hi, I’m Banjo! I am a fun young pup looking for an active home to keep me mentally and physically stimulated! If you’re looking for a hiking buddy or an agility partner, I’m your guy! I love to run around and play with toys and other dogs. I enjoy rolling around in the grass, and have a real knack for finding toys under your furniture!

I am still just a 9 month old puppy, so I will need a home willing to keep training me on how to be the best adult dog - but don’t worry, I’m a smart guy and I learn quickly! With a consistent routine, I am doing well with things like housebreaking and crate training. Come meet me at the shelter today!

We do same day adoptions. Adoptions are first-come, first-serve. Bring valid ID, and payment. We do not place animals on hold.

The Humane Society of Charlotte believes in working to improve our community by creating new, loving families, and building a world where there are no more homeless and unwanted animals. This is an ongoing process — for every animal we can connect with a new family, another animal in need comes to HSC’s shelter. As a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the HSC relies on the generous support of animal lovers, grants, bequests, and fees for service.
