Meet Vail! Vail is a cozy wood cabin with a firelit glow in the middle of snowstorm. He is a stunning wintery white with a touch of flame point and icy blue eyes. Vail is sensitive yet self-assured. He is incredibly gentle with a fiercely strong determination to be the love of your life. Vail doesn't waste a single moment before he's sitting at your feet gazing up at you or nestled in a soft fleece blanket on your lap. Vail is the friend you never knew you needed, the fresh fallen snow all around you. If you're there, he's there. Vail loves to be kissed and cuddled. He melts just at the mere sight of you. Vail truly is one of the sweetest, most loyal and loving kittens you could ever meet. Vail believes he will find his forever home and the kind-hearted person inside it someday soon. He's patiently waiting for the door to knock so that he can meet you. P.S. We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
