My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** The Situation is currently in a foster home, and he is available for adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

What's up, everyone? I'm The Situation, a handsome blue brindle pup ready to bring some serious fun and energy to your life! Just like my Jersey Shore namesake, I've got charisma and charm that's hard to resist.

I'm all about living my best life-whether that means showing off my playful side at the dog park or getting cozy for some quality snuggle time. I'm full of personality and always ready for an adventure, whether it's chasing after toys or exploring new trails.

I'm great with kids and other pets, and my confident demeanor makes me the perfect companion for any occasion. As The Situation says, "You gotta make the best of what you've got," and I'm here to make every day special with you!

If you're looking for a loyal and fun-loving pup to brighten your days, I'm your guy! Let's create some unforgettable moments together-come meet me, The Situation!

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
