Meet Pita!

Pita is a 13 month old hound mix. She is UTD on vaccinations, spayed and was hw negative at last check but needs to be retested. She has been on
on flea/tick and hw preventatives for three months.

Pita is in a foster home where she has been inside/ outside pup. She is protective of fosters and yard. She loves being a lap dog, rolls over for belly rubs, and loves cats and kids.

More about this rescue

Our small, volunteer based, non-profit was formed in September 2023. Our city run shelter was grossly underfunded so we stepped in to fundraise and financially assist with vet care, transports, and food for the animals at the shelter. In January 2024, our city council decided to no longer fund the animal control department. Since that time, we have continued to assist with the care of animals in our community. Our goals are to find fantastic forever homes for these amazing dogs and focus on spaying and neutering homeless animals in effort to greatly reduce the vicious cycle of unwanted litters born on the street.
