Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This Sweet girl is new to the Watermelon Family, and we are still learning about her, but what we have learned so far is that she is great with other dogs and is very very friendly to people.
She is able to climb a chain link fence, so her new home would need a very tall fence made of either wood or cinderblock.
For more information please call our main phone line, or email dogswmr@gmail.com

More about this shelter
Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
