My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Princess!

She is 18 months old, UTD on vaccinations, and spayed. She is lab, husky, shepherd mix. She is heart worm positive and has received initial doxycycline treatment. We would love to start full heart worm treatment on her but she will need to be in a home before that can happen. After each treatment, Princess will need to have a quiet space where she can rest.

Princess is the aunt to Ginny and Gemma. She is part of 12 family members and 3 generations of dogs that Beth had been caring for on the streets. Princess is shy but loves pets and attention. She is not house trained but is very smart and could easily learn with one on one training.

More about this rescue

Our small, volunteer based, non-profit was formed in September 2023. Our city run shelter was grossly underfunded so we stepped in to fundraise and financially assist with vet care, transports, and food for the animals at the shelter. In January 2024, our city council decided to no longer fund the animal control department. Since that time, we have continued to assist with the care of animals in our community. Our goals are to find fantastic forever homes for these amazing dogs and focus on spaying and neutering homeless animals in effort to greatly reduce the vicious cycle of unwanted litters born on the street.
