Meet Sawyer!

This sweet boy is estimated to be 1 year old!

He's neutered, UTD on vaccines and full of beans.

​He's very affectionate with his foster mom and ready to find his furever home.

Not tested with other cats or dogs, but would need a slow and proper introduction.

Meet and greets are scheduled for the potential adopters to get a better sense if this is the right pet for them and to ask any questions

Home Check

We do a home visit with all members of the family and pets We then do a week-end trial We then do a week-long trial

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

During this time we also call all references provided and if the week-long trial goes well, we then finalize the adoption

Additional adoption info

The process from start to finish takes about 3 weeks in order to ensure that the adopters are comfortable and to set the pet up for success.

Paw for Cause Animal Rescue is a non-profit, foster-based rescue in Ottawa, dedicated to helping animals in need and pet owners who are struggling. Our team is run by volunteers who are passionate about rescue, adoption, advocacy, and education.

Paws with a Cause is also involved with rescue partners overseas to assist with finding loving homes for cats and dogs in Canada.
