Hi, I'm Blu! Can you guess why my foster parents gave me this cool name?

I'm a fun-loving, energetic Husky/Dalmatian mix who's always ready for an adventure! I love to run around and play outside, but once I've burned off my energy, I'm all about snuggling up for a cozy nap with my humans. I get along great with other dogs-my foster sister and I have a blast playing together-so if my forever family has a dog, we're sure to become fast friends.

I'm currently working on both my crate and potty training (making progress every day!), and I'm eager to keep learning. I promise, if you take a chance on me, I'll love you with all my heart! I can't wait to find my forever home and become your loyal companion.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
