Meet Cider: A Sweet Yorkipoo Looking for His Forever Home 🐾
Cider came into Sunny Bear Rescue on 11/01 from a puppy mill, and his journey has been nothing short of remarkable. When he first arrived, Cider was a shy, frightened boy who wasn’t sure about people. But with time, love, and patience, Cider has made an incredible transformation—he now thrives on human companionship and loves being around people!
At just 5 months old, Cider is a Miniature Poodle/Yorkshire Terrier mix with soft, wavy hair (not fur!) and a docked tail. He weighs about 12 lbs and has the sweetest temperament. Cider loves being held and will sleep on top of someone or another dog every night, likely finding comfort in the closeness. We think he may have spent a lot of time alone before coming to us, and now he craves that connection.
Cider is friendly with other dogs, good with kids, and even seems to get along well with cats. He’s house-trained and, although he hasn’t yet been altered, he’s already making great strides in becoming the loving, playful pup he was always meant to be.
He’s ready for his forever home where he can continue to blossom into the confident and affectionate dog he’s become. If you're looking for a cuddly, loving companion, Cider might just be the one for you!
