I adopted Kitty at 6 months old, at the time we already had a 6 year old cat, a male Russian Blue mix, after slow integration they became close friends. Unfortunately my older cat passed and now Kitty is lonely, she needs a companion either another cat, male preferred, or someone who is home most of the day.
Kitty is an indoor cat, you can leave the door open, she might sit in the doorway and look out, but she won't run. At first she is shy and may hide for a few days, but once she warms up, she is such a sweetie, this is a very hard decision for me but I want the best for Kitty.
