This sweet boy came to us as a stray several months ago and appeared to have been on his own for a bit. We’ve fostered him to help him regain a healthy weight, resocialize, and loved on him but are not able to provide a permanent home.
He’s an energetic dog who likes to walk on a leash, play with balls, toys, etc, but is also a very polite indoor dog who lays at my feet while I work from home. He’s crate trained and is quiet and content when crated. (New crate included.)
We’ve had all of his vaccinations updated. Our vet says he’s likely a standard poodle and estimated him to be approximately 1-1.5 years old. He needs a fenced yard or play area, but is a wonderful indoor dog as mentioned.
He’s friendly toward other dogs, however, because he’s not neutered he’s only ever outside on a leash. We have cats, they freak out about him and he is inclined to chase them although he can be discouraged and will resist the temptation for a while.
