Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Juliet is a beautiful 9 year old senior cat. She previously lived with an elderly couple who returned her as their own increased medical needs made it too difficult for them to care for her. They reported that Juliet confidently explored around the house and would sleep anywhere. But she especially loved to curl up in their laps during TV time. Her favorite treats are Temptations and catnip treats. They also reported that Juliet does not do well with change. We have observed this as since she returned to us, Juliet has been very unhappy...hissing and growling at everyone who comes near her. Who can blame her....she lost her family and her home and is now in a new environment with strangers. She must be so scared and confused. Our staff are giving her as much TLC as we can to help her get comfortable. Once she starts to relax a little more she will be ready to meet possible new adopters. We are confident that once Juliet finds her new forever home that she will return to her relaxed self and will curl up on her new human's lap every night.
Juliet is part of our Seniors For Seniors Program where if adopted by a Senior, reasonable medical costs are paid for as long as she is seen by a participating veterinarian.
