My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Brooke...she is a female German Shepherd that we carried into the shelter after we found her outside. She either couldn't or wouldn't walk. We took her into our veterinarian and they were uncertain what could be the problem. According to them it could be hip dysplasia, neurological, Degenerative myelopathy, or psychological. We think psychological is definitely part of it because she is going for walks with the volunteers every day. Please visit the Taylor Animal Shelter to meet her.

Fees for adoption are $160 for non-sterilized dogs/cats and $60 for sterilized dogs/cats. There is a sterilization refund of $100 once the dog/ cat is sterilized. If an animal is sterilized at the city's expense the fee is $135 for a dog adoption and $95 for a cat adoption. There is a contract that is needed to be completed at time of adoption.
