Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Blazer was emaciated and showing signs of having been locked in a crate when we rescued him from a local shelter. We have promised him a wonderful life. Blazer is energetic/active and would love a home with a runner or big back yard and dog comparable in size to run and play with! A dog who doesn`t want to play may be annoyed by him. He is smart, eager to please and there`s no aggression. He`s food motivated, but doesn`t guard his bowl. Loves to play fetch and is ok crated, but not as a way of life! With training, good exercise and lots of love, he will reward you by being a fabulous family member! Right now, we`d say no toddlers as he may knock them down with his zest for life. 1 yr. 40 lb. Neuter, vaccines, microchip provided.

More about this rescue
Homeward Bound Pet Rescue was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of experience in pet rescue. With over 20,000 companion animals being euthanized each year in the Midlands of SC, our goal is to save as many as possible from this dreadful fate. Rescue is expensive, so your help is needed in order for us to save lives. Each pet receives prompt medical attention, is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted into a loving home. Medical care is our main expense. We also must purchase microchips, heartworm and flea preventions, food and many other supplies. We are an ethical group of volunteers who promises to use every penny for the rescue, care and adoption of pets in need. All donations are tax deductible. No Paid Staff!! Click our PAYPAL link below or mail your check to PO Box 4335, Irmo, SC 29063 THANK YOU!!!
