My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From his caretakers:

"Marsh has been a loving dog since day one and is now 6 years old. He’s been around all ages of kids, small and big dogs and he is also very use to and comfortable with cats.  He loves to sun bath in the lawn, cuddle under blankets, and be part of the family. He also enjoys rubbing especially around his face and ears. He is NOT use to the outside other than play time or to go potty. Marsh is crate trained, has been since he was very little. He is also house trained besides a few accidents when he was younger. For the time we have had him, we have never had any issues with his temperament toward other animals or people.  Currently he eats Kirkland brand dog food but has done well with other brands too. He sleeps with a soft blanket at night or under the covers with us. During certain times of the year we recently noticed his skin has a sensitivity to dirt/dust so we do use a topical cream called SULFODENE 3-WAY OINTMENT. We place it directly on the affected area and on occasion he will try to lick it but for the most part he does well and leaves it alone. Overall, Marsh deserves a loving home who will include him in the family and not be left out side."

A BIT ABOUT US
Turning Passion Into Action

ASTRO Foundation was founded in 2012 by a group of animal advocates in Oakdale, CA. The organization was formed to rescue as many homeless animals as possible and ultimately build a modern adoption center for the community.

In Summer of 2021 we will be opening an adoption center at 611 East E St. in downtown Oakdale, CA. To learn more, visit astrofoundation.org

ASTRO Foundation also has partnered with Petco which provides us with cat cages at their facility at 2341 Claribel Road, Riverbank, CA.
