My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Isn't Caroline just such a beautiful young cat? Her coat is so beautiful and soft and she has such expressive eyes. Caroline and her siblings Chip, Cybil and, Calvin, came from an stressful hoarding situation. Despite her challenging beginning, Caroline is the most loving, calm and well behaved kitten. She is a pretty relaxed gal with way more zen vibes than her siblings. She's an old soul!

This kiddo is a young lady so she must be adopted with one of her siblings or to a home with another young cat for her to play with. Caroline loves wet food, her heated cat bed and when you put ice cubes in her water fountain! Caroline is so special and so easy to please. We hope that someone can open their heart to this special heart girl. We know you won't be disappointed.

Caroline's vet found that she has a heart murmur during a routine medical visit. She was taken to a specialist and xrays show that she has a hole in her heart. There are a lot of unknowns with this condition, but for now, she doesn't need any medication. It's possible the condition will even resolve on its own. Caroline and her siblings were rescued by a private foundation that transferred them to Forever Fortunate Felines. That foundation (The Moore Foundation) has agreed to pay for any heart-related treatments and medications for Caroline's entire life. So, if you're in love with Caroline but worry about medical expenses, you can set that worry aside. Caroline's life expectancy and prognosis is unknown but for now, she's thriving!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
