My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SILVER MICKIE and FRANK are a mellow bonded pair of adult male Siamese mix cats. Silver Mickie is a lynxpoint (gray tabby/Siamese mix) and Frank is a chocolate point. Both have beautiful bright blue eyes. These two fellas make a stunning pair! Silver Mickie and Frank are both gentle and affectionate.  Frank is the more extroverted of the two and appreciates attention and combing. Mickie is also sweet and affectionate but takes a little longer to get comfortable with his humans. These two enjoy cuddling together, playing with wand toys, and looking out the window at the bird feeders. Frank likes to follow his foster around (especially at mealtime!) chatting and chortling. They are both easy going and well behaved. Frank was loving and curious almost immediately, while Mickie took about a week to warm up--but he now seeks pets and enjoys being groomed. They do not seem fearful of occasional loud noises or the vacuum cleaner. These two are beautiful boys who have excellent manners and very calm personalities. They are bonded, but also affectionate with their humans. They had a loving home, but their owner passed away.  If you’re looking to add cats with a sweet disposition to your household, Frank and Silver Mickie are the perfect pair for you!

SILVER MICKIE and FRANK have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (they are negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and include a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet FRANK and SILVER MICKIE  in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet.   The $170 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. Frank’s ID: 2301-C0017 Silver Mickie’s ID: 1810-C0488R

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
