Luna is a sweet, affectionate companion who, along with her brother Lucky, is searching for a caring forever home. This gentle, grey-and-white lady adores being brushed and will happily come running when it’s mealtime. Luna and Lucky have spent the past 7 years in a small trailer without windows, and while they’ve been deeply cared for, they haven’t experienced a comfortable, spacious home or consistent human attention.

Luna is incredibly gentle and loves both snuggling and playtime. She’s fully indoors and would thrive in a peaceful environment where she and Lucky can explore, relax, and be pampered. Though they are in good health, both are due for updated vaccinations. They’re nervous around dogs and afraid of the outdoors, so a calm, indoor-only home would be best. A safe balcony or window would give Luna and Lucky a wonderful new view to enjoy.

An ideal home for Luna and Lucky would be with someone who works from home or has plenty of time to spend with them—someone who’s looking for affectionate, low-maintenance companions. If you’re ready to share your space and heart with two loving cats, Luna and Lucky are waiting to bring their sweetness into your life!

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
