Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Finn, rescued by the Puerto Rico Dog Fund (PRDF).
*Available for adoption approx. December 2024*
Finn and his brother were found as strays near one of the vet offices we partner with on the island, for spay and neuter services. Vet Veronica called us, asking for help, explaining that Finn and his brother were super sweet boys that needed a home - of course, we said "yes".
Finn is estimated to be almost 9 months old (by mid-Nov), he's fully vaccinated, sterilized, great teeth and coat, but was diagnosed with Heartworm. Left untreated, this can become a serious disease, so it is vital that he completes his vetting protocol and gets a clean bill of health before becoming eligible to go to his new home.
He is currently with one of PRDF's amazing fosters here in Puerto Rico. He gets to play with a pack of dogs on the property (12+), is super social with both humans and dogs of all ages / sizes, and is an all around great family dog due to his balance of independence and cuddle time needed. He hasn't had much exposure to leash training yet, so will need an adopter willing to work with a young pup that is eager to please but used to being free-roaming. He'd love to be invited up on the couch with you to watch TV or go out and chase a ball. A wonderful addition to a family with other dogs or children.
The adoption fee covers his transportation to his chosen home in the states. Please apply early, so applicants can be screened and a home chosen in time for "day 1" of his vet clearance. We will be so happy to present this playful, handsome guy to the right match. Life off the streets and into a loving home is Finn's destiny!
