I came to Safe Haven as a transfer from another shelter, I was found as a stray with some skin and ear issues that everyone is trying to help me overcome. I have allergies and some problems with an ear injury but it doesn't keep me down. I really like company, when I hear a voice I know Ill talk to them so theyll come and see me. I do have some fear of men which requires a patient person to help me overcome my fear. I am very strong and can easily pull people along when Im on a leash, its something were working on. I do love to play, have you played fetch? I love it, but I also love all the toys I find. I tried to steal some of the noisy cat toys when I got here, they made noise so I had to try them out! I am pretty good at opening doors and making my own exits to places when I want to see what is going on, so I will need supervision and maybe a good fence in my new home so my curiosity doesn't get the better of me. I am pretty good with other dogs and kids, but the closest I have been to cats is running down the cat hallway at the shelter to raid their toys. If you think I sound like the pal you have always wanted please submit an application for me today! Once an application is approved, we ask potential adopters to come to the shelter to visit the pet or pets they are interested in. If it seems like a great fit, then we would have you fill out the Adoption Contract and provide you with the pet's medical chart, some of the food it is currently eating, and offer any advice we can on that individual cat or dog.
